Two days for creators, streamers, podcasters and the brands that back them. Exhibitor and sponsorship applications are open now, and 100 free tickets will be drawn from the waitlist when sales open.

MELBOURNE, Australia, 14 October 2026. Australian Exhibitions and Media (AEM), the Melbourne organiser behind the Australian Tattoo Expo, LoveX, Babylon Live and the Tech and Gadget Expo, today announced CreatorCon 27, Australia’s creator convention, for July 2027 in Melbourne. The two-day event brings content creators, streamers, podcasters, speakers and coaches together with the brands, platforms and agencies that work with them.
CreatorCon is produced by a team that has run more than 50 exhibitions over 12 years, with more than 300,000 visitors through the doors and 3,000 exhibitors. The event enters a market that is still growing fast. The global creator economy was worth about US$250 billion in 2023 and could reach US$480 billion by 2027, according to Goldman Sachs Research, which counted 50 million creators worldwide and expects their number to grow by 10 to 20 per cent a year, while only about 4 per cent earn more than US$100,000 a year. In Australia, 20.9 million people, 77.9 per cent of the population, were active on social media in January 2025 according to DataReportal, and TikTok alone contributed $1.1 billion to Australian GDP and supported nearly 13,000 jobs in the 2023 financial year, according to research by Oxford Economics commissioned by TikTok. valued at $X in 2025".]
The program runs across three stages. The Main Stage carries the headline talks. The Influence Stage covers the business of creating: growth, income, brand deals and the contracts behind them. The Studio Stage is for craft and community, with small-group sessions, workshops and Q&A. A Creator Studio on the show floor will record interviews and podcasts across both days. Beyond the stages, the expo floor will host platforms, gear, tools and agencies, with creator-to-brand meetings so a sponsorship conversation can start in person, an Artist Alley of creator-led brands, and an evening event on the Saturday night. Speakers and the full program will be announced in 2027.
“Superintelligence is going to disrupt white-collar and enterprise business models. The creator space will keep growing through that, because individual creative flair, a real connection with an audience and a unique style of production cannot be replaced,” said Kevin Mack, Creative Director, Australian Exhibitions and Media. “I believe demand for the individual creator will spike through every disruption we see in global commerce, and CreatorCon is the room where that community and the brands that back it meet.”
Exhibitor stands and sponsorship packages are open now, with prices published at creatorcon.com.au/exhibit and creatorcon.com.au/partners. Speaker applications are open at creatorcon.com.au/speak. Ticket sales open on a date to be announced. Everyone on the waitlist gets first access and the lowest price, and 100 free tickets will be drawn from the list when sales open.
“I have always held my values in alignment with the events I conceptualise and produce,” Mack said. “Inclusivity and equality are at the forefront whenever I unite communities and build cultural events, and CreatorCon follows the same pathway: a safe, inclusive, creative and modern platform for the creative minds of today.”
